Food and Drink
Currently breakfast is served in the sitting rooms of Bonberry and Gosden Rooms which currently are the only rooms available. The Gallery Bar is closed for general use.
A signature feature of a stay at Kerswell Farmhouse is the enjoyment of an excellent breakfast based on carefully selected local produce.
Our Visit Britain award-winning breakfast menu offers a choice of starter, including Banana Muscovado and Warm Fruit Compote, followed by a traditional Devon Breakfast of Kerswell Farm home-reared pork sausages and bacon, black pudding by Richard Pollard of Dartmouth and Kerswell Farm free-range eggs, or alternatives including Eggs Royale, Eggs Benedict and Toasted Club Sandwich.
Breakfast is taken in the Old Farmhouse Dining Room or in the Garden Dining Room with its extensive views across rolling farmland to the expanse of Southern Dartmoor.
Kerswell Farmhouse is fully licensed and offers guests the Gallery Bar, a comfortable retreat located in the former milking parlour of the farm. An honesty bar is available 24 hours a day with wines, spirits, local beers an ciders and soft drinks.
In addition an excellent range of wines is available on request. They range from carefully selected house wines, including many from The Wine Society as well as examples of the finest Bordeaux sourced en primeur from the châteaux whenever possible.
