Kerswell Farm offers two charming dog-friendly shepherd huts at our small Devonshire farm located in Peters Meadow, a tranquil field of 1.5 acres enjoying spectacular views towards Dartmoor.

There are two luxury Shepherd Huts situated at the top of the meadow. They are called The Cress Well after a nearby pond used once for growing water cress, and The Three Hares after an ancient symbol with its origins in early Buddhism and sometimes associated with Dartmoor tin miners. Kerswell Farm has a resident pair of hares which guests may be able to spot.

The Shepherd Huts are spacious and luxuriously appointed with fitted double beds, shower rooms and well-equipped kitchen/dining areas. The huts enjoy mains water and electricity and a modern purpose-built drainage system. Outside each hut is a broad deck with a table and chairs, ideal for watching the changing skies in the west as the sun goes down.

At Kerswell Farm Shepherd Huts we are dog friendly for well-behaved dogs who sleep in their own beds.

Today Kerswell is still a small working farm with Berkshire pigs and hens. Guests are welcome to explore the fields to see the animals.
